It is very sad an d disturbing to hear tha t the country who sent out missionaries is walking away from God and needs to be evangelized.

Ye s I know how people react to our Christian views about gays. I 've had people oppose me very strongly when I shared my views on a blog and an d Facebook.

Hi JL,

The video was not opening.I don't know why.Yet the heading of your post is enough to drive home the point.

Britain has always been a revolutionary place. It nurtured so many divisions in Christianity mostly against the Catholic Church. Then in the name of democracy people were given so much liberty to do so many things contrary to Christian beliefs.

People get so much freedom that religion takes second or third place.Well I hope it will not erode the basic faith against God.Parents have a big responsibility in bringing up their children with strong foundation in God.

With the rise in IT professionals, advancement in science and technology and alarmingly disproportionate increase in income in the hands of youngsters, I can see change in values and thinking in all respects whether belief in God,gay marriage and I was appalled to read Elton John was allowed to celebrate a gay marriage,
abortions, couples living together and having children out of wed lock etc. These things confuse and confound me and I find totally at a loss to comprehend the fast decaying moral values .

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

Hi Joseph,

Sorry about that. The video should be working now, hopefully.

You are absolutely right. Britain is quite a revolutionary place and has been for many years. For instance, this is where Karl Marx wrote Das Kapital. Today it seems to be one of the main centres for militant atheism and the gay rights movement.

I would describe Britain as a Christian country all but in name. The government here has increasingly bent over backwards to appease various lobby groups (gays, abortionists, atheists, feminists, etc) to the extent that now you could get in trouble with the law if you expressed your faith openly. What we would call mortal sins have been legitimized by the state. This is a great shame and it is putting pressure on people who want to practice their faith openly.

Britain is certainly in self-destruct mode. Eventually people will realise their mistakes, but by then I think it will be too late.

Best wishes,
JI.
